Jeep kicked off the “Jeep X Games Avalanche Scramble” sweepstakes on its Facebook page on Wednesday. Three contestants will win a trip to Aspen, Colo., for the 2013 ESPN X Games on Jan. 23-27. The grand prize winner will drive home in a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 10th Anniversary Edition.
The contest—which runs from now until Jan. 3—can be entered from the company’s Facebook page once per day, for a total of 14 possible entries. Three players will be randomly chosen and flown to Colorado to participate in the giveaway on Jan. 25. Each contestant will get a key; the one that starts the Jeep is the winner.
The 10th Anniversary Jeep gets Chrysler’s Pentastar V6 making 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. It comes stocked for off-road use, with electronic-locking front and rear Dana 44 axles and Jeep’s Rock-Trac transfer case. With the six-speed manual, it has an impressive crawl ratio of 73.1:1.
